To commemorate World Aids Day international recording star Laurice has released a YouTube music video entitled Faded Rose as a tribute to Jon Royal Redon, his partner in life who died of HIV/AIDS in 1986
Dedicated as a tribute to Jon Royal Redon, his partner in life who died of HIV related complications in 1986. The making of this video was a very painful process for Laurice. "He watched as his beautiful man wasted away and died after a horrific battle with a very hostile medical community in Los Angeles, California." says a friend. Laurice contributed an AIDS panel for the AIDS Quilt celebrating Redon's life which you can see on this video. The recording star feels that this song, and this video illustrate in pictures and words a part of AIDS and gay history. Both are relevant to the evolution of attitudes in both the global medical and LGBTQI communities since 1986.
