Strength in Numbers was named outstanding community organization at the 2005 WeHo Awards, held December 1 in Los Angeles They salute achievements by gay and lesbian Los Angeles-area individuals and organizations. SIN beat out fellow nominees Being Alive, Equality California, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing, L.A. Youth Support Services, The Wall: Las Memorias, Trevor Project, and the WeHo Church in its category.

SIN founder Bryan Levinson also was nominated as outstanding community volunteer.
