Aaron Laxton understands that disclosure is a tough thing to deal with because of the ways people can react. Laxton personally speaks to a viewer who had been recently diagnosed and felt the need to end their life. “There are others who know where you are at right now,” Laxton said. “There are others who’ve been scared and felt the pain of where you’re at right now. You are not alone. Please reach out to others.”

He also shares one way to take away the stigma of HIV—by wearing the red ribbon to start the conversation.
