Testing Rates Vary by Race

HIV antibody testing rates vary greatly among U.S. women, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. Excluding screenings while donating blood, the percentage of women who have had at least one HIV antibody test are:

66% African-American
56% Hispanic
53% White
49% Other or multiple races
