Created by teen activists, 'Call Center Bling' highlights free condoms and other Planned Parenthood services just a text away.
Planned Parenthood of New York City has dropped the hottest video of the summer: a parody remake of Drake's "Hotline Bling." It's even more impressive when you know it's one of the Teen Advocates projects, where teens create videos and other media to share specific, health-related (often safer sex) messges with their peers.
in the video, “Call Center Bling,” a Drake impersonator dances through free condom giveaways and sings about Planned Parethood NYC’s confidential support; which is just a text away (teens can text “nowuknow” to 77-948). Watch the video here:
Designed to reach more teens and inform them of Planned Parenthood's services, the Advocates' work helps ensure messages reach other teens where they are, via social networking and compelling videos, and in language that makes sense to kids. Plus, it builds the skills and confidence of the teen participants: win-win!
