Dr. Edward Atwater, professor emeritus of medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, donated his collection of over 8,000 posters spanning 30 years and 100 plus countries, to the library's department of Rare Books and special collections. The collection can be seen in an online exhibit here. This is belived to be the largest collection in the world and represents over 30 years in the battle to end HIV and AIDS.
