Cyndi Lauper “Boy Blue” The fourth single off of Lauper’s 1987 True Colors album, she wrote “Boy Blue” for a dear friend who had died of AIDS. In true Lauper style she wears her heart on her sleeve when performing the soaring ode to her friend.
