More teens and young adults today report engaging in oral and anal sex than did a little more than a decade ago, according to a study presented at this year's National STD Prevention Conference. Medical records of thousands of 12- to 25-year-olds attending Baltimore STD clinics show that numbers of individuals who reported having engaged in oral sex have risen markedly since the mid 1990s. Young men 1994'16% 2004'38% Young women 1994'14% 2004'38% The study also showed that anal sex rates nearly doubled among young women, rising from 3% in 1994 to 5.5% a decade later.
