At the organization's 27th annual Ribbon of Life fundraiser, held last week at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Los Vegas, Golden Rainbow raised more than $152,000 to assist people with HIV or AIDS in southern Nevada.
In a star-studded extravaganza, the event included unforgettable performances by singers like Clint Holmes, Josh Strickland, Wes Winter, Frankie Moreno, and Reva Rice, all of which paid special tribute to legendary artists like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Stephen Sondheim, Liberace, and more.
In addition, a silent auction with exclusive prizes like tickets, trips, and dinners brought in some serious money. All proceeds go to provide housing and direct financial assistance to people with HIV or AIDS.  Golden Rainbow has been serving people with HIV since 1987 through spectacular fundraisers and educational outreach. Last year alone, Golden Rainbow provided 8,184 nights of shelter, 527 days of utility assistance, 1,054 days of transportation, and medical and dental assistance to more than 500 households.
