Cop Goes on Shooting Spree to Find Woman With HIV
A police officer in Kenya is a suspect in a shooting rampage that left 10 people dead while the accused was allegedly trying to track down the woman who gave him HIV.
The shooting spree occurred Sunday evening in three different bars in Siakago, according to the Associated Press. The suspect, who is in his 30s, is now in police custody.
The shots that killed 10 people, including two police officers, sparked outrage once residents heard the news. Townspeople rallied at a police station near the site of the shootings.
"In Siakago there is no security," said Nyaga Manunga, whose daughter was fatally shot. "Someone can't just shoot 20 to 30 bullets without any reaction from the police."
