N.J. Governor Pushes for Needle Exchange
Although efforts to establish needle-exchange programs in three New Jersey cities died when an executive order from former Gov. James McGreevey expired early this year, the current governor says he plans to take up McGreevey's mantle. Democrat Jon Corzine says establishing needle exchanges in the state is one of his top priorities, and he'll do so through an executive order if the legislature does not take action.
