A New York City sex party that had invitational fliers saying that condoms would be banned from the event has drawn the wrath of the Harlem-based advocacy group Gay Men of African Descent. The May party is the third condomless sex party held by the promoter; 54 people reportedly attended the prior event. GMAD executive director Tokes Osubu, who coordinated a May 20 protest of the party and its organizers, called the event 'disgusting.' 'We want to send a strong message to [the party's promoter] and promoters like him that it's unacceptable'and to the larger community that we're not all complicit in this behavior. We're not just idle bystanders.' The party promoter declined to identify himself or discuss the party when contacted by the media.
