AIDS Deaths Drop
After studying data to examine causes of death in 68,669 people with AIDS who were living in New York City from 1999 to 2004, researchers reported in the September 19, 2006, issue of Annals of Internal Medi cine that HIV-related deaths had decreased by 55% (significantly more than the change among non-HIV-related deaths: down only 34%).
