New government data show that the number of infants born with HIV in the United States declined markedly between 1994 and 2005. According to the 'Women's Health USA 2007' report by the Health Resources and Services Administration, the number of babies born with HIV infection declined by the following percentages among these U.S. ethnic groups: > White: 80% > African-American: 65.6% > Hispanic: 40.6%
