Plus 147 March-April Issue: Long-Term Survivors and SFAF's New CEO

In our latest issue read long-term survivors’ stories, in their own words, and about how a nonprofit leader is making history in San Francisco.

Our March/April 2022 print edition of Plus magazine celebrates the bravery and resilience of long-term survivors of HIV. In the issue, several long-term survivors share some of their personal triumphs and traumas of living with HIV for decades. We also celebrate a historic first — our cover star, Dr. Tyler TerMeer, has just been named CEO of San Francisco AIDS Foundation. He is the first person of color and only the second living with HIV to assume the role in the organization's 40-year history. “I have taken some time to think about my nearly 18 years now of living with HIV,” says TerMeer, “and how unbelievably rewarding that period of time has been for me to cultivate a group of peers that are also Black and brown folks around the country that have been a system of support.” Read the full issue here:
