Dr. David advises letting your doctors know whether you're out.

In the first installment of the new #AskTheHIVDoc video series on YouTube, Dr. David talks about tips on how to let your doctor know about your sexuality and why coming out is so important, especially in a health and medical setting.

“Your provider does need to know that you may have sex with other men,” Dr. David explains. “The most important part about that is that there are certain diseases and conditions, sexually transmitted infections, as well as general health care maintenance that is important for you to get as a man who has sex with other men.”
