When you skip a soda or cocktail in favor of a 'healthy' drink this summer, check out the nutrition label on the bottle or ask the barrista at the juice bar for its nutritional data. You may be surprised at how many calories and how much fat you're pouring into your body. Here, according to Men's Health, are some of the worst drink choices you can make this summer. Glaceau Vitamin Water. With 33 grams of sugar and 130 calories, it's almost the equivalent of drinking of can of Coke. Arizona Kiwi Strawberry juice. It contains only 5% real fruit juice, and a whopping 84 grams of sugar and 360 calories. Jamba Juice Peanut Butter Moo'd Power Smoothie. It packs more sugar than an entire bag of chocolate chips, has 30 grams of fat (almost half of your recommended daily allowance), and nearly 1,200 calories. Pina Colada. Sure, it's tasty. But that sweet, sweet flavor comes from pineapple juice and coconut milk, which contain 75 grams of sugar and 625 calories. Baskin Robbin's large Health Bar Shake. The numbers say it all: 2,310 calories, 266 grams of sugar (more than 88% of your recommended daily carbohydrate consumption), 108 grams of fat (almost double the recommended daily amount), and 64 grams of saturated fat (more than triple your recommended daily intake). You'd need to run for four hours on the treadmill to burn off the empty calories in this artery-clogging concoction.
