Aaron Laxton's My HIV Journey: "Day 9 Reaction to Atripla"

Aaron’s rash caused by taking the HIV medication known as Atripla has gotten worse.

Despite the reaction to Atripla, small red bumps that have formed all over his body, getting worse, Aaron still talks about how he had a good day when going out to a friend’s birthday party. However he does admit the challenges of dealing with how HIV has visibly impacted his body.

“This is the first sign of something on the outside that people can look at and see,” Aaron expresses in the video, “I will laugh it off and make jokes about it to kind of break the ice with people.”
