Aaron Laxton's My HIV Journey: "Day 79 Viral Load"

At this stage Aaron Laxton has been on his HIV antiretroviral medication, Atripla, for 8 weeks and reports that his lab results show a successful decrease in his viral load.

Aaron Laxton is in high spirits as he shares his lab results reporting that the Atripla medication his has been taking has helped bring his viral load down half a million cells to 3,110 cells. In addition to the good news, he shares that his CD4 count – the amount of white blood cells that fight the infection – has also increased 7 percent. Laxton informs that he has stayed compliant to the drug regiment, and has worked hard at keeping his body physically healthy by exercising and staying social.
