A three-judge panel of the U.S. ninth circuit court of appeals ruled in March that three HIV discrimination lawsuits filed against American Airlines can continue. Three men sued the airline after being provisionally hired for flight attendant positions, then refused employment because they tested positive for HIV antibodies. The airline claims the men lied about their health during the application process.
