Feds for Microbicides

U.S. representatives Jan Schakowsky and Chris Shays introduced the Microbicide Development Act in September, calling for a boost to federal funding for research in 2006 and 2007 and for the creation of a National Institutes of Health division devoted to microbicides. The bill's Senate version was introduced in March.
