Peter Piot, executive director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, is deeply disturbed that 74 nations still maintain HIV-related travel restrictions, with 13'including the United States'completely barring HIVers from entry. 'No other condition prevents people from entering countries for business, tourism, or to attend meetings,' he said while urging an end to such restrictions.
