$4.8 Billion -- The amount of additional HIV-prevention funding the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention needs over the next five years to cut the U.S. HIV infection rate in half by 2020. While seemingly an exorbitant amount of money, AIDS experts point out that it will be more expensive to treat people whose infections could have been prevented.
