Plus Issue 123 March/April 2018: Ashley Rose Murphy & Aging With HIV

Plus Issue 123

Born with HIV, Ashley Rose Murphy has been an activist since she was in elementary school. She fought mild cerebral palsy, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and a learning disability — as well as HIV stigma — to become a kickass 19-year-old activist, a long-term survivor, and a Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation ambassador. Meanwhile, Poz diplomat Michael Varga was given months to live (in the 1990s). Instead, the former State Department employee continues to thrive.  Plus: Experts offer 15 things you need to know about HIV & aging.
