The summer issue of Plus feature our annual Treatment Guide, with details on dozens of medications used for treating HIV and its side effects, as well as drugs that could be approved this year and next. Don't miss our updates on injectable retroviral therapy, which could replace pills in the future. Our cover story features Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Jericho Brown discussing HIV and racism and how the two are intertwined. In light of the nation's recent reckoning over racism, two Black HIV activists — Ashley Innes and Dr. Justin Terry-Smith — contribute their thoughts on the state of racial inequality in this nation.
