WATCH: Twenty Years After I Became HIV-Positive

Greater Than AIDS's new Empowered program — and its spokesperson Backed by Alicia Keys — works to help real women talk about HIV.

We couldn 't help but love this new video from Greater Than AIDS, in which Jen describes her life living with HIV since she was diagnosed at the age of 18. Although she focuses on how she is able to live a life without shame, she also talks about how her life could have been different if more information had been available to her.

The video is part of Empowered, a campaign where Grammy Award-winning artist and HIV advocate Alicia Keys reaches out to women to talk about HIV and AIDS and to change the course of the disease, particularly in the United States.

More information can be found at Greater than AIDS.
