A tempest in a teapot recently broke out in a Michigan school district when a guest speaker in a sex-education class introduced a cherry-flavored condom to high school students. While discussions about condoms are allowed, angry parents and school administrators say the flavored condom was inappropriate because it prompted a question about a banned topic: oral sex. The hubbub was so great that the Howell Public School District suspended its high school sex-ed guest speaker program and a Planned Parenthood program in which students learn about child development. Good thing the guest speaker didn't bring ribbed or lubricated rubbers; there could have been a full-fledged riot!
