Now 51 days since his diagnosis on June 6, 2011, Aaron Laxton says he talks about “this HIV stuff because it’s a pandemic. It’s not going away.” Laxton goes over numbers such as the amount of people who have been infected since the first report of the virus on June 5, 1981 (at the time of the video, 60 million people had been infected with HIV and 25 million had died of AIDS). These huge numbers are justification for Laxton speaking publicly about the issue.
