Awareness Venture Begins New Year

Viacom and the Kaiser Family Foundation have announced the start of the third year of their Know HIV/AIDS joint media campaign, which includes public-service announcements, HIV-themed programming, and print and online information on Viacom's radio, TV, Internet, and outdoor advertising ventures. 'HIV is spreading at an alarming rate, yet it can be prevented if people have the right information and ability to act on it,' Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone says.
