A survey by The New York Times has shown that most gay bars in New York City no longer stock free condoms or make HIV prevention information available. Activists say the drop-off in prevention outreach at gay businesses is a sign of safer sex fatigue and the belief that anti-HIV drugs reduce the threat of HIV transmission.
