Growing Resistance

Communities in Crisis Youth Young people are getting infected with strains of HIV already resistant to anti-HIV medications at an alarming rate, according to a study by the Adolescent Trials Network. About 18% of Americans between 16 and 24 newly infected with HIV harbor virus resistant to at least one antiretroviral medication.
