The PROUD study was part of groundbreaking research on pre-exposure prophylaxis, which found strong evidence to support taking antiretroviral drugs to prevent transmission of HIV. 

Now, the participants in the PROUD study are sharing their thoughts and experiences on being a part of the research. In their own words, they explain the risks they took and the fears they had about HIV transmission and how PrEP has changed their sex lives for the better.
