This powerful video is part of a Brussels ad campaign aimed at an LGBT community seemingly increasingly hostile to HIV-positive men.

In celebration of Gay Pride in Brussels, Belgium, Ex Aequo, the Belgian AIDS Prevention Association, launched an awareness campaign that equates homophobia and the LGBT’s community increasingly open hatred and discrimination against those who are HIV positive.

The emotional video draws a parallel between fears of the coming out, and fears of sharing one’s HIV status — and the aftermath.

The ad campaign is supported by the Brussels government and has been broadcast on TV and in movie theaters.
