Robinson got the chance to take his HIV awareness and safer-sex messages overseas this past year, being invited to perform his one-man show, God Did Not Give Me HIV, in the fall at the World HIV and AIDS Conference, in Johannesburg, South Africa, and for college students in Barbados. He also delivered a keynote address at the daylong African conference, in which he discussed why it is important for everyone to join the fight against AIDS. 'If you don't fight, who will?' Robinson says he asked conference attendees. 'I'm thrilled to be reaching out to other countries and other continents, to come together with young people all over the world,' Robinson says of his international bookings. 'I truly believe my performances reach beyond cultural differences'that no matter where someone is from, they'll be able to see my show and say, 'I did feel something when he was onstage. I did learn something.' That's universal.' Robinson has also been invited to perform in Trinidad, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, and he hopes to be able to visit those Caribbean nations later this year.
