Plus's next issue highlights the concept of U=U and offers tips for jumping back into sex and dating post-quarantine.

The latest issue of Plus focuses on the concept of undetectable equals untransmittable (U=U), the scientifically-proved consensus that people living with HIV who are on treatment and have an undetectable level of the virus in their blood cannot transmit the virus to anyone, including their partners. In our cover story with Canadian musician Dizz, who's part of the pop group rIVerse, we discussed how U=U helped make his new HIV diagnosis less intimidating for him and his partner. We also spoke with adult film star Kayden Gray, who recently made a porn movie that incorporates messages of U=U into its content. With the weather warming and COVID vaccines becoming more widespread, we also offered tips for getting back into both dating and sex, courtesy of experts like Gary McClain and Dr. Jess O'Reilly. This year also marks 40 years since the first reports of what is now known as HIV and AIDS appeared in the mainstream press; see how those stories of an early pandemic compared to what we read about COVID a year ago.
