Celebs Dress Up to Fight AIDS
Famous fashionistas including Selma Blair, Keri Hilson, Akon, and Penn Badgley have joined H&M to become the faces of its fourth annual Fashion Against AIDS collection.
The unisex collection, available April 26, features slogan T-shirts, draped parkas with zip-off sleeves, and shorts, according to a press release from H&M. The project comes from the organization Designers Against AIDS.
“I think it’s really fitting that this collection is androgynous in style since the disease affects both men and women,” Blair said in a statement. “It’s a universal thing, and we are all in this together. It’s a disease that can be avoided, and it’s especially tragic when our ignorance keeps us from safety.”
A quarter of the sales will benefit global HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
